Arsenal this morning are being linked with Bayer Leverkusen star Arturo Vidal, this comes directly on the back ofArsenal conceding that they are prepared to let Cesc Fabregas leave, if Barcelona can match their valuation.
Arsene Wenger who this morning has written a letter to supporters of the club that is published in today’s Sun newspaper, pleading for patience, is desperate to reinforce his squad. Particularly as he also faces the very real prospect of losing French midfielder Nasri this summer as well as Fabregas.
According to the German newspaper Bild, Arsenal have been keeping a watch on the Chilean international with a view to making an approach for the player. Bild also states that Wenger has spoken to several coaches that work in the Bundesliga concerning the player to get the lowdown on Vidal.
Arsenal however are not the only club who are interested in Vidal, with reports that Leverkusen have already turned down an approach fron Italian side AC Milan, rejecting out of hand a £9 million bid for the player.
Capped 30 times by Chile, Vidal who has featured in over 100 games for Leverkusen and the 24 year old could well be the man Arsene Wenger turns to, to replace Fabregas, in the heart 0f the Arsenal midfield.
It is thought though, that Arsenal will have to bid in excess of £13 million, for Leverkusen to relent and allow the Gunners to talk to the player, over a prospective move to the Emirates.

pendapet the start of the new season is fast approaching, we need the new players to blend well with the current ones so that there will be no excuses once the season starts. pls, enough of the speculations, we need ACTION!
