Cole se unió al Arsenal FC cuando era joven. El 30 de noviembre 1999, debutó en la Worthingon Cup contra el Middlesbrough. Aliaksandr Paŭlavič Hleb (nacido en Minsk, Bielorrusia, el 1 de mayo de 1981), más conocido como Alexander Hleb (Bielorruso: Аляксандр Паўлавіч Глеб; Ruso: Александр Павлович Глеб), es un futbolista que actualmente juega en el Birmingham City de Inglaterra y es internacional con la selección bielorrusa. Es un centrocampista rápido, con visión de juego y regate, polivalente y versátil, de gran recorrido sobre el terreno de juego. Francesc Fàbregas i Soler, mejor conocido como Cesc Fàbregas (/ˈsɛsk ˈfaβɾəɣəs/), (Arenys de Mar, Barcelona, 4 de mayo de 1987), es un futbolista español que se desempeña como mediocampista en el Arsenal de la Premier League y en la Selección española.
Inició su carrera en las categorías inferiores del FC Barcelona, de donde los cazatalentos del Arsenal le captaron en 2003, cuando el mediocampista catalán sólo tenía dieciséis años. Las lesiones que diezmaron el medio campo gunner en la temporada 2004-05 le abrieron las puertas de la titularidad, que Cesc no abandonaría ya. Las espectaculares actuaciones que realizó con el Arsenal han hecho que esté considerado como uno de los centrocampistas más completos del mundo.
En el plano internacional, la carrera de Cesc dentro de la Selección española comenzó a los diecisiete años en el Mundial sub-17 de 2003, disputado en Finlandia. Dennis Nicolaas Maria Bergkamp (más conocido como Dennis Bergkamp) (Ámsterdam, Países Bajos, 10 de mayo de 1969), es un ex futbolista neerlandés. Es considerado uno de los más grandes futbolistas de su país, siendo el segundo goleador de la Selección de fútbol de los Países Bajos, con 37 goles. Anotó goles tanto en las competiciones nacionales como en las europeas.

Andréi Sergeyevich Arshavin (en ruso: Андрей Сергеевич Аршавин, Leningrado, Unión Soviética, 29 de mayo de 1981) es un futbolista ruso. Juega de centrocampista y su equipo actual es el Arsenal FC de la Premier League de Inglaterra. Comenzó su carrera como profesional en el Zenit San Petersburgo, club al que arribó en 1999 y con el cual obtuvo tres campeonatos a nivel nacional (una Copa de la Liga Premier de Rusia, una Liga Premier de Rusia y una Supercopa de Rusia) y dos a nivel internacional (una Copa de la UEFA y una Supercopa de Europa).
Con la Selección de fútbol de Rusia participó en una edición de la Eurocopa, avanzando hasta las semifinales. A lo largo de su carrera, ha obtenido diversos títulos individuales como el premio al Futbolista del año en Rusia y el premio al Futbolista del Año en los Países Bálticos y la Comunidad de Estados Independientes.

Gaël Clichy (Toulouse, Francia, 26 de julio de 1985), futbolista francés. Juega de lateral izquierdo y central izquierdo y su equipo actual es el Arsenal FC. Posee nacionalidad martiniqueña y francesa y ha sido internacional por este último país en repetidas ocasiones.

Samir Nasri (en árabe سمير نصري, nacido el 26 de junio de 1987, Marsella, Francia) es un futbolista francés de origen argelino que juega como centrocampista en el Arsenal FC de la Premier League de Inglaterra.
En 2004 el Olympique de Marsella, ante la posible fuga de su gran talento, le hizo su primer contrato profesional. Después de cuatro temporadas en el equipo marsellés, Nasri se hizo el dueño del medio campo, donde era titular indiscutible.

Al finalizar la temporada 2006-2007 recibió el premio al mejor jugador joven de la Ligue 1 de Francia de manos de Zidane, a quién le fue otorgado este galardón en el año 1994. Este premio fue el fruto de una gran temporada en la que Nasri obtuvo con su equipo el segundo puesto en el campeonato francés y la final de la Copa de Francia, perdiendo frente al Sochaux FC en los lanzamientos penales.
En el verano del 2008 se hizo oficial su contratación por parte del Arsenal, donde ocupó el puesto de Hleb, quien fue traspasado al FC Barcelona.
Marcó el gol de la victoria en su debut contra West Bronwich Albion el 16 de agosto de 2008.
Ha seguido dando de que hablar en adelante, en 2009, a pesar de las frecuentes lesiones del tobillo, dió una actuación fantástica todo el año, anotando y asistiendo, probablemente su mejor asistencia fue en 2009 contra el Burnley a su compañero de equipo Cesc Fábregas y su mejor gol es sin duda contra el Oporto disputando un partido de Champions League en el cual marcó el mejor gol de la temporada para su club y uno de los 10 mejores goles del año, ofiacialmente. En la temporada actual ha marcado en muchas ocaciones y ha sido alabado por el mismisimo Arsené Wenger en muchas ocaciones, el cual asegura que es un jugador clave para el equipo, marcó contra el Manchester City en la victoria 0-3 y también fue escogido el jugador del partido por el diario británico The Sun, está y muchas actuaciones más lo consagran como el mejor jugador de la temporada para el Arsenal en lo que va de temporada.

Tomas Rosický (nacido el 4 de octubre de 1980 en Praga) es un futbolista checo que juega actualmente en el Arsenal FC.
Rosický, es un centrocampista conocido como 'el pequeño Mozart'; es conocido por su fenomenal rendimiento, poseedor de un chut extraordinario y es el encargado de mover hilos en el mediocampo.Su gran técnica para encarar le permite ser el hombre clave en el funcionamiento de su equipo, posee gran visión de cancha para pasar , magnifico regate y un potente tiro de fuera del área lo cual lo hace impredecible y muy capaz de sorprender a los expectadores y a los defensas rivales.
Comenzó su carrera en el Sparta Praga en 1998, donde ganó tres ligas checas, y se convirtió en el jugador más joven en lograr el galardón al Jugador checo del año. En 2001 se trasladó al Borussia Dortmund; ayudó al Dortmund a alcanzar el título de la Liga de Alemania en el año 2002, y llegó a la final de la Copa de la UEFA (que perdió el Dortmund 3-2 ante el Feyenoord) en la misma temporada. Su sólido estado de forma en la temporada 2004-05 ayudó a que el Dortmund escalara puestos en la clasificación de la Bundesliga, lejos de los puestos de descenso. En total jugó casi 150 partidos de la Bundesliga y 23 partidos de la Champions League y la Copa de la UEFA.
En el año 2006, Rosický se dio cuenta de que su equipo le quedaba pequeño y que era tiempo de emigrar a uno con serias posibilidades a nivel europeo. Tras el mundial de Alemania 2006, donde marcó 2 goles a Estados Unidos, y después de mucho especular sobre su posible traspaso al Atlético de Madrid, Rosický firmó por el Arsenal inglés, por tres temporadas, reemplazando así a Robert Pirès.
El 26 de enero de 2008, cuando el Arsenal igualó con el Newcastle, por la FA Cup Rosicky se retiró lesionado a los nueve minutos de juego. "No es una lesión seria, pero sí extraña", había delcarado Arsene Wenger en su momento.
Por ende, después se perdería la Euro 2008 y durante toda la última temporada amenazó con regresar pero ni siquiera pudo participar de un partido. Tanto la rodilla derecha como los isquiotibiales de la misma pierna le traicionaron constantemente. Siendo así que llevó 18 meses sin jugar ni un partido. Después de pasar una serie de lesiones, para el año 2010 parece que regresa en ritmo siendo pieza clave durante los encuentros de este año. Actualmente participa en la Liga de Campeones de la UEFA, con el Arsenal,

Jens Lehmann (nacido en Essen, Alemania, el 10 de noviembre de 1969) es un ex-portero del fútbol profesional alemán.
Jens Lehmann inició su carrera profesional en 1989 en el FC Schalke 04 en la Segunda Liga y en 1991 fue promovido a la Primera División de la Bundesliga. En sus diez años con el Schalke fue el portero titular indiscutible y llevó al equipo a ganar la Copa UEFA de 1997. Al siguiente año dejó el Shalke para unirse al AC Milán en Italia dónde perdió su posición titular luego de tan sólo unos partidos y regresó a Alemania con el Borussia Dortmund en la transferencia de invierno.
En el 2002 ganó el Campeonato Alemán con el Dortmund, antes de firmar en el 2003 con el FC Arsenal en Inglaterra, equipo con el cual ganó también el Campeonato de la Liga o Premiership en apenas su primer año con el equipo (los Imbatibles de esa temporada). Gracias a su desempeño en sus primeros tres años en la Liga Premier, Lehmann pudo hacerse con la posición de primer arquero de la Selección Alemana, justo antes de la Copa Mundial del 2006. Asimismo, mantuvo su titularidad en la portería alemana en la Eurocopa del 2008 celebrada en Austria y Suiza.

Ljungberg was signed by Arsenal in 1998 for £3 million, which at the time was the biggest transfer fee ever for a Swedish player. Arsenal scouts watched him for over a year and Arsenal's manager, Arsène Wenger, took the unusual step of authorizing the signing after watching Ljungberg play for Sweden in their victory against England on television, without seeing him play live. Seeing Ljungberg’s performance against England only confirmed to Wenger that Ljungberg could cope against English opponents and was signed shortly after. Ljungberg proved himself without difficulty and scored on his debut after coming on as a substitute against rival club Manchester United, the match ending 3-0.
Some of Ljungberg's best form came in the second half of the 2001-02 season, when Arsenal won their second Premiership and FA Cup double. Following a knee injury to Robert Pirès, Ljungberg scored in most of Arsenal's remaining games, including a stunning finish for Arsenal's second goal in the 2-0 FA Cup final win over Chelsea.
He endeared himself to Arsenal supporters by having a bright red stripe in his hair. (A popular chant spawned from this to the tune of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons: "We love you Freddie, because you've got red hair, we love you Freddie because you're everywhere, we love you Freddie, you're Arsenal through and through" Later when he shaved his head this was updated to "We love you Freddie, because you've got no hair").
Ljungberg was the first player to score a goal at an FA Cup final outside England, when Arsenal lost against Liverpool in 2001 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. A year later, against Chelsea, he became the first player to score in consecutive FA Cup finals. He also scored a penalty in the shootout in Arsenal's 2005 FA Cup Final victory over Manchester United.
He is most comfortable on either wing in midfield, though he can also play centrally in a 4-5-1 formation or as a second striker. Ljungberg became a regular in Arsenal's starting lineup following the departure of Emmanuel Petit and Marc Overmars in the summer of 2000. For several seasons he played a major role for the club including being a member of the unbeaten 49 game run for Arsenal. He had to fight with constant injury problems and occasionally severe bouts with migraines; in 2005 a mysterious persistent hip injury led to fears he may have contracted cancer, which were unfounded. It transpired that he was suffering from blood poisoning caused by his large tattoos.[11]
Despite a persistent ankle injury, Ljungberg played for Arsenal in the 2-1 defeat by Barcelona in the Champions League Final in Paris on 17 May 2006.
It was speculated in January 2007 that Ljungberg was being forced to leave Arsenal, after bosses became tired of a run of injuries restricting his play. Though it was suggested he could make a move to West Ham United, later these speculations proved to be premature. "Ljungberg still has a lot to offer to Arsenal," Arsené Wenger said, on 13 January 2007, at a Blackburn Rovers pre-match press-conference, stressing the fact that Ljungberg will stay at Arsenal until the end of his contract in 2009.[12][13] However, Ljungberg did indeed leave Arsenal before the end of his contract, making the move to West Ham in mid-2007.
Ljungberg came back after a long injury in an FA Cup match against Bolton Wanderers, scoring a goal thirteen minutes before the end of extra time, earning Arsenal a place in the fifth-round tie of the FA Cup against Blackburn Rovers.

Pirès was signed by Arsenal for £6 million in 2000, after stiff competition from Real Madrid and Juventus, replacing Marc Overmars, who had left for Barcelona for a record £25 million.[1] Initially, Pirès' form was indifferent, and some people criticised him after his comments that the English game was too physical. However, he slowly began to regain the form he had shown at Metz, scoring a superb solo goal against Lazio in the 2000–01 Champions League,[3] and the winner against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-finals.[4] However, Arsenal went on to lose the Cup final to Liverpool 2–1.
By 2001–02, Pirès had fully got to grips with the English game and had one of his best seasons. Pirès scored superb goals against Middlesbrough and Aston Villa. Against Aston Villa, Pirès chased after a long ball by Freddie Ljungberg, and lobbed the ball over the pursuing George Boateng, and finished off the move with a delightful chip over Peter Schmeichel. He led the Premier League assist charts and was voted both FWA Footballer of the Year and Arsenal's player of the season, as Arsenal won the league title. This was despite not playing the last two months of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in a FA Cup match against Newcastle United.
After a lengthy layoff, Pirès made his comeback in November 2002 as a substitute against AJ Auxerre in the UEFA Champions League. Although Pirès initially found it tough, he eventually returned to form, scoring 14 Premiership goals in 20 starts that season, including a hat-trick against Southampton on the penultimate day of the season. Pirès was voted Barclaycard Player of the Month for February 2003. Pirès capped off his season by scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup Final against Southampton.[5]
He went on to be a crucial part of Arsenal's quest for the Premier League title in the 2003–04 season, which they achieved, remaining unbeaten and becoming the first English top flight club to do so in 115 years. Pirès and his Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry were instrumental in that season, scoring a combined 57 goals in all competitions. Pirès made a sluggish start to the campaign, but a wonder-goal against Liverpool at Anfield kick-started his season. Pirès showed football fans his sublime technique, skills and finishing, most notably with his goals against Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers, and Leeds United. He surprised a lot of people with a world class tackle on Claude Makélélé and, following that, a run into the penalty box which dragged William Gallas and John Terry away, thus making space for Patrick Vieira to have a one-on-one with the Chelsea goalkeeper and subsequently scoring. Arsenal won that match 2–1, with Vieira's goal the equaliser. That day of Premier League action proved decisive, as Manchester United's failure to beat Leeds United during the same day resulted in Arsenal getting a huge lead in the title race. Arsenal never lost 1st place in the table for the rest of the season. More notably, Pirès will always be remembered for a game in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final's 1st leg match against Chelsea, where he managed to beat John Terry to a header, which resulted in the equaliser for Arsenal, after Eiður Guðjohnsen had given Chelsea the lead. Unfortunately for Arsenal and Pirès, they were eliminated after they lost 1–2 in the return leg, courtesy of a 87th minute Wayne Bridge goal. Pirès also showed his playmaking skills in the wonderfully crafted goal against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane, in which Pirès was the architect in building up the goal, and capped off the move with a sublime finish to score Arsenal's 2nd goal of the game. Tottenham refused to give up, and managed to claw their way back and claimed a 2–2 draw. Despite that, Arsenal won the title after the match. Pirès finished that season with an impressive tally of 14 goals and seven assists in the Premier League. He was Arsenal's second top scorer (behind Thierry Henry) and had the joint amount of assists (along with Dennis Bergkamp) that season.
In the 2004–05 season, Pirès finished third in the Premiership goalscorers table with 14 goals, behind teammate Thierry Henry and Crystal Palace's Andrew Johnson. Pirès also picked up a second FA Cup winners' medal after Arsenal beat Manchester United on penalties. Pirès was replaced by Edu in the 2nd half of extra time in that match.
During the 2005–06 season, Pirès wrangled with Arsenal over a new contract, in the hope of a new two-year deal. In keeping with the club's policy regarding players over 30, Pirès was only offered a 12-month extension to his contract, which expired in June 2006. Pirès started the season poorly, and players such as Freddie Ljungberg, José Antonio Reyes and Alexander Hleb were preferred to him on both wings. As the season progressed, though, Pirès's form improved, outscoring his selection rivals overall. Pirès played his last game for Arsenal in the UEFA Champions league final against FC Barcelona, in which he was substituted after goalkeeper Jens Lehmann's sending off during the match. Pirès ended the season as Arsenal's joint second top scorer along with Robin van Persie.
In May 2006, Pirès agreed to an offer from Villarreal CF[6] after a month of speculation, during which time he played against Villareal in the Champions League semi-final. One of the main reasons Pirès gave for leaving Arsenal was that he felt he was no longer a first choice under manager Arsène Wenger. Pirès was quoted saying: "I have to say I have had some disappointments this season. For instance, I was on the bench very often".[7] Pirès additionally suggested that Wenger's decision to withdraw him in the UEFA Champions League Final showed he had slipped in the eyes of his French boss. Pirès said that he felt hurt by how Wenger did not trust him anymore, which was a major factor that convinced him that it was time to move on from Arsenal.[7]
Arsenal fans and players alike were saddened by Pirès's departure. His ex-Arsenal teammate Cesc Fàbregas told the August 2006 edition of the Sky magazine how sad it was to lose him.[citation needed]
On the official Arsenal matchday program for the game against Wigan Athletic on 11 February 2007, Pirès revealed his heartbreak of being substituted so early on during the Champions League final. Pirès stated: "I was very disappointed. When I saw my number on the fourth official’s board to be substituted, I couldn't believe it. It was my last game after six years at the club, a Champions League Final in front of all my family in Paris where I became World Cup champion and it lasted just 12 minutes. That was very hard to take".
On 11 July 2008, Arsenal fans voted Pirès as the club's sixth greatest player of all time.[

Despite Sevilla manager Joaquín Caparrós wishing to hang onto him, Reyes signed with English club Arsenal during the January transfer window of the 2003–04 season. The £10.5 million transfer fee was negotiated with top ups, depending on the success of Arsenal, which could have risen to £17 million.[4]
He made his debut on 1 February 2004 in a 2–1 win over Manchester City; two days later, he scored an own goal against Middlesbrough in the Football League Cup. Later that month, Reyes scored twice against Chelsea to knock them out of the FA Cup. He also scored against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, and his goals in the penultimate two games of the season helped keep Arsenal's unbeaten run in the Premier League going.
Hat tricks in friendlies during the summer 2004 showed his improvement, and Reyes was a prominent influence on Arsenal's impressive start to the 2004–05 season, in which he managed to score in each of the first six games. However, Reyes struggled during the middle of the season after Arsenal's defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford. His inconsistent performance brought little reward for much of the season, and yet towards the end of it he scored three valuable goals.
In early 2005, Reyes was reported to be homesick while at Arsenal, even though his parents, Mari and Francisco, as well as brother Jesús lived with him in England. During a prank call perpetrated by Cadena COPE Radio of Spain in February 2005, a prankster claiming to be Emilio Butragueño, at the time director of football of Real Madrid, speaking on behalf of the president of the club, reportedly called Reyes' agent and spoke to Reyes himself about a possible transfer deal. In the ensuing conversation, Reyes allegedly declared that life in London was far from what he had envisioned and he would welcome a move back to his native Spain. Reyes also supposedly said that he wanted out of the club as there were "bad people" at Arsenal.[5]
On 21 May 2005, Reyes became only the second player in history (after Kevin Moran) to be sent off in an FA Cup final, when he was dismissed for a second yellow card shortly before the end of extra time against Manchester United, though Arsenal still went on to win the game in a penalty shootout.
He temporarily ended speculation about a move away from Highbury in July 2005, when he signed a new six-year contract and declared that he was "looking forward to having many more successful years at the club." [6]
In Arsenal's 2005–06 Champions League run, Reyes featured heavily against, among others, Real Madrid, Juventus and Villarreal CF in the most impressive Champions League results for Arsenal to date. He came on as a substitute in the 17 May 2006 final against FC Barcelona, which Arsenal lost 2–1. However, in August 2006, he expressed a desire not to play in Arsenal's Champions League qualifying match against NK Dinamo Zagreb – to do so would render him 'cup-tied' and complicate a move to Real Madrid.[7] Club manager Arsène Wenger left him out of the team, thus fuelling speculation that a transfer was soon to be agreed.
