Robin van Persie injures knee

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie was substituted at half-time during Netherlands' Euro 2012 qualifier against Hungary with a knee injury.

The 27-year-old was able to walk off the pitch after being involved up until the interval but reports now suggest the forward has suffered from a bruised knee.

Van Persie had recovered from a knee problem earlier this month to face Barcelona in the Champions League.

Any potential setback will come as a blow to Arsene Wenger who will be preparing his side for a title run-in which still includes games against Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United.
