BackSamir Nasri is blossoming into a "great player", according to Arsène Wenger.
The French midfielder produced a virtuoso display at Manchester City on Sunday, firing the visitors ahead in the first half after smart interplay with Andrey Arshavin before setting up the third goal for Nicklas Bendtner.
Nasri has made a flying start to his third season as an Arsenal player, topping the Club's scoring charts with seven goals in nine starts. His manager feels that Nasri is realising the potential that tempted Wenger to sign him from Marseilles.
"At 23 years old your career starts at the top level and he is becoming more efficient," said Wenger.
"I think he has become stronger physically and you judge a player with his numbers. On Sunday he had a goal and an assist so that’s what you want from players who have a lot of talent like he has.
"He is quite a complete player because he can run with the ball, he is quick and he is a clinical finisher now. I believe we have a great player in him now."
