Miquel - It’s my dream to play at Wembley

Help?
The Reporter Help

We have renewed the Rumours and Transfers and from now on it will be known as The Reporter.

New changes:

You have the section divided into rumours and pieces of news. You can add photos to the news and rumours. If look carefully, each news that contains an image will have a small icon next to it referring to the image.

Classification of news and rumours:

The classification of news and rumours will be based on two criteria: number of votes and ancestry. The latest and the most voted news and rumours will be displayed on the top. If for example you observe that at the end of one week a news or rumour a lot of votes goes below another article with less votes it will be because it is not so new. In any case you can choose between looking at it in this order, only the latest, the most commented on or only news or rumours.

How do I upload a news?

Inside the section, on the left you will find the "Upload news" botton.

How do I upload a rumour?

Inside this section, on the left you will find the "Upload rumour" botton.

How do I vote for a news or a rumour?

You only have to click on the arrows beside it. The green one means you like it amd the red one (by now it is only available for the users with highest rank) means you don't like it.

Miquel - It’s my dream to play at Wembley

PIECE OF NEWS

By Rob Kelly

Ignasi Miquel hopes to fulfil a lifelong dream by playing at Wembley this season - but for now he won’t look beyond Sunday’s clash against Aston Villa.

Arsenal host Alex McLeish’s side in the FA Cup fourth round, and with Manchester City already out and Manchester United due to face Liverpool, a number of bigger clubs could have fallen by the wayside by the last 16.

All the same Miquel says that the Gunners squad are taking nothing for granted and must remain focused ahead of a big test against Villa.

"Anyone can beat anyone in the cups. You saw in the Carling Cup that Manchester United lost at home to a Championship team [Crystal Palace],” he told Arsenal.com.

“These games are completely different from the league, so anyone we play will be a hard game. Of course the big teams have a good chance in the FA Cup, but you have to stay focused and make sure you beat who is in front of you.

“It is a dream to play at Wembley in a big final. First, we have to go step by step, but obviously if we can get to Wembley it would be a big, big thing for us.

“We have not won a title for quite long, so it would be great for us. But our next game is on Sunday against Aston Villa and we must focus on that. If we keep working and stay mentally strong we can get through it.”

Miquel made his Arsenal debut in the FA Cup last season and featured against Leeds in the memorable third-round match that saw Thierry Henry score the winner on his return to the Club.

"That was amazing. It was the best crowd I have ever seen at the Emirates. The last 10 or 15 minutes were unbelievable,” the Spanish defender said.

“Everyone knows it is a hard time for us but if you get the supporters behind you, you feel more comfortable. After Thierry scored, Leeds had a couple of chances but we stayed strong at the back and the supporters were with us, so that helped a lot.”
