Henry loan - van persie - when they leave.

I would like to start by saying welcome back to Henry, and well done for last nights goal in the F.A Cup. This is probably the best signing that Wenger could have made at this time. But the question I keep asking myself is, if a player loves a club so much why do you leave. For glory? For money? After all what do the big names that leave our club accomplish. Henry left in 2007 to go to the club I call the meat factory. If memory serves I cannot think of one player who has left Arsenal and gone on to greater things with there new club, for example what did Henry win with Barcelona. For that matter Vierra, Petite, Overmars, Pires, Reyes all leave a club when it was winning and having success. Arsenal are consistantly in the champions league yet we fail time and again to retain the service of these players. I would have thought most of these players have regrets of leaving our club. If Van Persie is considering leaving our club I would ask him to review the out come of others who have left. At Arsenal you are the main man, if you move to a club like Barcelona or A.C Milan the likely out come would be you warm the bench and play when the others need a rest. I emplore you Robin, sign a new contract, let Wenger build a team around you and go on to become an Arsenal great. Who knows, maybe one day you will have a bronze staue of yourself outside the stadium. I wish players would stop chasing rainbows and realise how good they have it at the Arsenal...commit to the club and the cause, one club one love one passion. It's not just a job, for the fans its a way of life!!!!I Challange any one to name a player who left Arsenal to go on to greater things... Anelka no chance, the happy wanderer would have been better off at Arsenal look at what we won after he left. Ashley Cole again won more with Arsenal and his departure was shrouded with a bitter taste. Thinking caps on guys.
