Gervinho confident Arsenal will cope without Cesc Fabregas & Samir Nasri
Publish piece of newsGervinho confident Arsenal will cope without Cesc Fabregas & Samir Nasri PIECE OF NEWS
BackArsenal's new signing Gervinho believes that the club can replace star midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri if they leave this summer.
Both players have been heavily linked with departures, with Barcelona in negotiations for the captain and the two Manchester clubs trailing Nasri, whose contract expires next year.
Gervinho, however, admitted that the prospect of Arsenal losing two such influential players was a part of football and he believes the Gunners will survive without them.
"It is football, everything moves quickly," Gervinho told Radio Monte Carlo Sport.
"If the club does not manage to keep these players, they will be able to replace them."
The Ivorian is confident that the team will still be able to compete for honours and will continue to be regarded as an elite side, regardless of whether or not manager Arsene Wenger is able to hold on to Fabregas and Nasri.
"Arsenal will always remain a large club," Gervinho added.
"No-one knows what will happen in the future, maybe in a year or two Arsenal will win titles."

chatostmc Your thought are good, but arsenal need to win a trophy this season. there is no need of letting the two players to go, arsene wenger should do every thing humanly possible to keep them if he still want to have the fans to support him

ericuwa Look at the story of Flameni, he almost regret leaving the Emirate for Ac Milan, after series of appeal to him not not leave but because the situation where on his side ,he decide otherwise. Therefore Nasri is in a similar situation now, we ,re beging him to see reasons why he should extend his contract with Arsenal, but if he feels otherwise then so be it.I heard them complaining they want to win trophies. But if we should ask them the star players in Arsenal who is to win the trophy.is it not them the players,so they should learn how to do their job very well and stop complaining.

ericuwa There are better Fabregas and Nasri, it all depend on the exposure Wenger gives to other talents in the squad. So let,s rest the matter of this rumuor of whether they are leaving this season or not.Afterall it was the exposure given to Fabregas that raise his standard. Equally Nasri was not as good as his now when he first arrive the Emirate.

ericuwa I strongly share the view of Gervinho that Arsenal can replace both Fabregas and Nasri if they leave for greener pasture elsewhere.

GBEMIGA4EVER I still believe we need one of these two players to stay for at least two season to allow for proper coordination in the midfield and for other signings and upcoming players in the midfield to blend.
