Arshavin would understand Cesc Barcelona move

Andrey Arshavin has revealed he would understand if Cesc Fabregas were to leave Arsenal Football Club and return to Barcelona in the summer.

The Catalan giants have made no secret of their admiration for the midfielder, who left the Camp Nou for England in 2003 and has gone on to become one of the best players in the world.

As much as the player and the Gunners insist there will be no transfer, Arshavin has rocked the boat by revealing he would understand if the 23-year-old were to join Pep Guardiola’s side.

“If he goes to Barcelona, I will understand his choice. But as an Arsenal player, I really don't want this to happen," he told Sport Express. “But Cesc is a grown man and only he can decide."
