Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is thought to have picked up a knock during a training session with Denmark.

The towering forward is on international duty to represent his country in the crunch Euro 2012 qualifier against Norway, but Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet reports that the 23-year-old has sustained an ankle injury.

The forward is now a doubt for the upcoming game against the fellow Scandinavian side, with his team sitting in third in their qualifying group.

Arsenal have a bit of a breathing space to regain some energy as their next game is on April 2 against Blackburn Rovers.
